Charles Arthur Skiles pleaded not guilty on 7/5/2021 to one felony count of illegal voting or interference in an election and one misdemeanor count of illegal registration by a voter. Skiles was found guilty after trial on both counts on 8/2/22 and was sentenced on 10/12/22 to up to three years imprisonment, suspended, plus three years of probation and $1,500 in fines and fees.[2]State of Idaho v. “Charles A. Skiles was sentenced for illegally voting and illegal registration by a voter in the 2020 Presidential Election. Mr. Skiles was on felony probation and prohibited from voting or registering to vote pursuant to Idaho law. On Nov 3, 2020, Mr. Skiles entered a polling location in Ada County, he completed a voter registration card and attested that he was an eligible voter. He illegally cast a ballot to vote in the Presidential Election. Richard Curtis Guggenheim pleaded not guilty on 9/14/2021 to one felony count of illegal voting or interference in an election in relation to offenses committed during the 2020 election. Guggenheim changed his plea to guilty as part of a agreement on 12/28/2021.
